Findings of the Fordham Que(e)ry: Report to the Fordham University Community (PDF) This campus climate report was compiled using data from 351 students gathered between November 25th, 2012, and March 1st, 2013. It represents an estimated 70% of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Genderqueer (LGBTQ) students at Fordham College Rose Hill and the Fordham Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, as well as an estimated 35% of LGBTQ students at Fordham College Lincoln Center and 28% of LGBTQ students at the Fordham University School of Law. Overall, they represent more than half of all LGBTQ students in these schools.
HERI Class of 2012 College Student Survey: Climate Questions (PDF) This document details a few relevant responses from the exit survey that the class of 2012 took before graduation. It shows that 3.5 - 3.9% of seniors strongly disagreed with the statements that the Fordham community accepts and respects everyone "regardless of sexual identity." Tellingly, this is very close to the estimated 4% of students who self-identify as LGBTQ. (This survey and document were compiled by the University, not by the researchers behind the Queery.)
